Homework

This Week´s homework

 

As the Read Write Inc groups have changed for this term, some of the children´s homework will change.

 

Miss Caroline´s group will continue to have green and red words to practice (but from the next stage).

 

My group will have a homework booklet sent separately from their normal homework book and may be sent on a different day, this will be as and when according to the program.

They will only complete the task set for that week, not the whole booklet.

 

 

Gruffalo visit

Yesterday Year 2 had a visit from one of our favourite story characters

 

The Gruffalo

and he is here to stay for a while.

 

We decided in the afternoon we would have a drawing competition, the children sat and sketched him, pouting all of the Gruffalo´s well known details.

 

They then coloured and labelled his features.

 

All of the drawings were fantastic, but there can only be 3 winners.

It was an extremely hard decision.
